Job Title: MRO Manager

Position Summary
The MRO Manager is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) team to ensure the availability and accuracy of spare parts inventory optimize maintenance processes and support equipment reliability and performance. This role collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to drive cost-effective solutions improve uptime and maintain compliance with company regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely availability for all equipment including Maintenance and Refrigeration departments.
- Optimize maintenance processes through proper inventory management and cost control.
- Track and manage component costs for corrective preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to reduce maintenance costs and extend equipment life.
- Develop implement and enforce policies and procedures for inventory management and accuracy.
- Support emergency maintenance activities and act as an escalation point for vendor issues.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships with parts and service suppliers.
- Track KPIs including inventory value stock-outs purchase orders maintenance expenses and inventory accuracy.
- Provide training and guidance to the MRO Maintenance and Refrigeration teams to enhance skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and company policies including safety and environmental regulations.
- Support regulatory and customer audits by maintaining readiness of inventory storage areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Inventory Management preferably in Maintenance in a manufacturing environment (food and beverage preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of hourly employees.
- Experience in developing and delivering training for new and existing employees.
- Strong familiarity with manufacturing equipment facilities and operations.
- Working knowledge of inventory control practices and CMMS systems.
- Strong computer skills including spreadsheets word processing ERP systems (NetSuite or other Oracle-based systems preferred) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Education: Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management or related field; or equivalent related work experience.
