- Lead the end-to-end mechanical execution of equipment installation alignment and commissioning activities.
- Develop and implement detailed execution plans schedules and resource allocations for equipment-related tasks.
- Coordinate with design procurement construction and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Conduct site inspections technical reviews and risk assessments to ensure equipment integrity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage vendor and contractor performance including review of shop drawings material submittals and as-built documentation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues during installation and commissioning phases; recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines budgets and engineering standards including ASME API and ISO codes where applicable.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports progress updates and close-out documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field personnel.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness for long-term performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
- 510 years of progressive experience in mechanical equipment execution within industrial or process engineering environments.
- Proven track record in managing equipment installation alignment and commissioning for large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps compressors turbines valves and piping.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera P6) and engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks).
- Experience with QA/QC processes HSE compliance and regulatory standards (ASME API ISO etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site in Vadodara and other project locations as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
