Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end mechanical execution of equipment installation alignment and commissioning activities.
Develop and implement detailed execution plans schedules and resource allocations for equipment-related tasks.
Coordinate with design procurement construction and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
Conduct site inspections technical reviews and risk assessments to ensure equipment integrity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage vendor and contractor performance including review of shop drawings material submittals and as-built documentation.
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues during installation and commissioning phases; recommend corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to project timelines budgets and engineering standards including ASME API and ISO codes where applicable.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports progress updates and close-out documentation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field personnel.
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness for long-term performance and reliability.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
510 years of progressive experience in mechanical equipment execution within industrial or process engineering environments.
Proven track record in managing equipment installation alignment and commissioning for large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps compressors turbines valves and piping.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera P6) and engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks).
Experience with QA/QC processes HSE compliance and regulatory standards (ASME API ISO etc.).
Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel and work on-site in Vadodara and other project locations as required.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
