Radon Mitigation Technician
Job Overview
The Radon Mitigation Technician installs and services radon mitigation systems to ensure properties meet safety standards. This role requires hands-on technical work attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Install radon mitigation systems according to industry and regulatory standards
- Perform diagnostic testing and system evaluations
- Seal foundation penetrations and ensure proper airflow
- Maintain tools equipment and vehicles
- Explain system operation and maintenance to clients
- Document completed work and service reports accurately
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Mechanical construction or HVAC experience preferred
- Radon mitigation license or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work in crawlspaces attics and confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
Required Skills:
Qualifications & Requirements 2 years of customer service call center or administrative experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced service environment Proficient with CRM systems scheduling software and basic office tools Real estate home services or inspection industry experience is a plus
