Responsibilities include creating detailed plans coordinating systems overseeing installation testing and ensuring seamless integration with overall building design for occupant comfort and sustainability.

Core Responsibilities

Design & Planning: Develop and review MEP drawings specifications and cost estimates for HVAC electrical and plumbing systems integrating them with the buildings architecture.

Coordination: Work with architects structural and other engineers to ensure smooth integration of different systems.

Installation Oversight: Manage and supervise contractors to ensure MEP systems are installed according to design and quality standards.

Compliance: Verify adherence to local national and international building codes safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.

Testing & Commissioning: Test and validate systems post-installation to confirm proper operation and efficiency.

Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance plans for the systems.

Key Systems Covered

Mechanical: Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Fire Protection.

Electrical: Power distribution lighting low-current systems (data security alarms) generators and backup power.

Plumbing: Water supply drainage sewage and waste management.
