Key Responsibilities
Emergency Response: Leading teams managing incidents ensuring safe evacuations and coordinating with external emergency services.
Fire Prevention: Conducting safety audits risk assessments implementing preventive measures and monitoring high-risk areas.
Training & Drills: Developing and conducting fire safety training and mock drills for staff and the public.
Equipment Management: Overseeing installation maintenance and testing of fire suppression systems alarms and extinguishers.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring adherence to fire codes maintaining safety records and preparing reports.
Incident Investigation: Investigating fire causes documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Fire Safety Engineering or related field; certifications are often preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in fire safety management facility management or emergency response.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of fire safety systems building codes risk assessment and emergency protocols.
