Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Account Management to oversee all recovery efforts and manage client relationships across the recovery function. This role is responsible for ensuring effective recovery performance while maintaining strong client relationships improving retention and protecting the companys reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor all recovery activities to ensure effectiveness and compliance
- Develop and implement recovery strategies aligned with company objectives
- Oversee account management teams responsible for recovery and client engagement
- Ensure timely follow-up resolution and closure of recovery accounts
- Manage and strengthen client relationships throughout the recovery life cycle
- Drive client retention by ensuring professional ethical and respectful engagement
- Monitor recovery performance metrics and ensure targets are achieved
- Handle escalated client issues related to recovery and account management
- Ensure adherence to internal policies regulatory requirements and best practices
- Prepare and present recovery and account management reports to senior management
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in account management recovery collections or credit operations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent client relationship and negotiation abilities
- Sound understanding of recovery processes and financial services operations
- Strong analytical reporting and decision-making skills
- Ability to balance recovery objectives with customer retention
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field
