Job Summary
Despatch Supervisor (with FLT)
per annum
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours: 39 hours per week (between 6:30am 5:00pm)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and experienced Despatch Supervisor to join their busy operation. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example while ensuring goods are prepared loaded and despatched accurately and on time.
A valid counterbalance forklift licence (or equivalent) is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Picking packing and preparing customer orders for despatch
- Safely operating a forklift truck
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly
- Maintaining a clean safe and organised despatch area
- Using customer and supplier booking-in systems
- Pulling correct work through internal systems
- Supporting and coordinating despatch team members
Requirements
- Valid forklift licence (counterbalance or reach)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
