Now Hiring: Community Assistant Maple Hall / NJIT Newark NJ

Part-Time Up to 20 Hours per Week $15/hr

Maple Hall at NJIT is seeking a reliable professional and service-oriented Community Assistant to support daily operations within our student housing community. This part-time role plays an important part in maintaining a welcoming organized and responsive environment for residents guests and campus partners.

As a Community Assistant youll provide front-line support through office coverage administrative assistance and resident services. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented courteous and comfortable working independently in a student-focused setting.

What Youll Be Doing

Provide office and front desk coverage during business hours
Answer phones assist visitors and complete basic computer and administrative work
Maintain furniture inventory and follow up on facilities-related items
Run on-campus errands to support community operations
Accept log and distribute packages as needed
Provide courteous assistance to residents vendors and guests
Assist with conferences meetings and administrative projects
Attend required meetings and trainings
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervising staff
