Position Overview:

As a Returns Analyst you will provide administrative and operational support for core distribution supplier returns and Caterpillar claims. If you are detail-oriented organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment this is a job for you!

Job Description:

  • Research and resolve core tracking errors and issues related to parts warranty and service transactions.
  • Coordinate with warehouse contacts for consolidation and timely shipment of cores ensuring entitlements are maintained.
  • Provide claims support tickets for Caterpillar.
  • Deliver training and guidance on supplier return processes within the Infor system including documentation and best practices.
  • Coordinate and execute bi-annual Caterpillar surplus returns including customs and shipping documentation.
  • Analyze rapid returns reports and submit eligible returns to Caterpillar.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide status reports on all return-related tasks and processes.

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Monitor and process Caterpillar claims for missing damaged or over-shipped parts.
  • Track core entitlements and follow up on aging cores and major components.
  • Prepare and reconcile surplus return documentation and credits with Finance and Caterpillar.
  • Respond to support tickets and provide timely resolution within established timelines.
  • Update and maintain reporting tools for core and return processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Operations Management Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Business is an asset.
  • 12 years of warehousing or supply chain experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control processes and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with real-time systems environments.
  • Strong communication organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Important:

  • This position is based out of our Edmonton head office location.
  • Temporary full-time role.
  • 6-month contract with potential for extension.
  • Monday Friday 5x2 schedule.
