Business Analyst / FinTech / SaaS / BA / Financial Services / Cardiff / Hybrid / Permanent

Vivo Talent are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our clients team and support the development of lending products within a global SaaS platform. This is a product-led role ideal for someone who can balance customer needs commercial priorities and long-term product strategy.

Youll work in a lean agile environment partnering closely with other departments to ensure theyre solving the right problems and delivering real customer and business value.

What youll do

Analyse and document product requirements aligned to the product vision and roadmap
Translate product needs into clear specifications process flows and use cases
Support Product Owners with user stories acceptance criteria and prioritisation
Contribute to continuous product discovery using customer insight data and experimentation
Identify dependencies across the full credit lifecycle (origination to collections)
Collaborate day-to-day with engineering design and QA in an agile setup
Embed regulatory security and risk considerations into all requirements

What were looking for

Strong experience as a Business Analyst in a software product environment (FinTech or Financial Services)
Hands-on experience working in lean agile teams (Scrum Kanban or hybrid)
Product-first mindset with a focus on outcomes over outputs
Confident communicator who can challenge feature requests constructively
Data-driven and analytical with good judgement on when qualitative insight is needed
