UK Settlements Analyst - London

As a UK Settlements Analyst in London youll play a crucial role in our Supply & Energy Management (SEM) team helping us maintain our position as a global leader in low-carbon energy supply and services. Overview of what you will do
- Validate and confirm transactions across various commodity markets and trading counterparties
- Prepare and validate commodity invoices and associated fees
- Manage daily cash margining processes with trading counterparties
- Resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to financial and trading reporting for various business units
- Develop and maintain efficient administrative processes with clear audit trails
What you will bring to the role
- At least 2 years of experience in a Back Office environment within the UK/European energy industry
- Strong knowledge of MS Office with coding skills (e.g. VBA Python SQL Power BI) considered favorably
- Experience with ETRM systems for the energy industry such as Orchestrade (OT) is a plus
- Self-driven and proactive with the ability to work without direct supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Clear and confident communication style with a customer focus
- Adaptable to change and able to work effectively in a small team environment
