Job Description:
As the first senior engineering leader you will establish the technical architecture and lead delivery for an AI-driven mortgage origination platform. You will be a hands-on contributor while setting strategy building the engineering team and ensuring enterprise-grade security. Partnering with founders youll drive product innovation and navigate complex fintech compliance.

What you will do:

• Architect and implement core services event-driven systems and complex third-party fintech integrations.

• Scale production AI systems including LLM frameworks agent evaluation harnesses and retrieval mechanisms.

• Build technical foundations for SOC 2 compliance security operations and enterprise-grade data governance.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven track record leading engineering at an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.

• Deep expertise in data modeling security/compliance (SOC 2) and productionizing AI/LLM workloads.

• Exceptional hands-on coding skills combined with the ability to mentor engineers and set technical standards.
