Job Summary

Job Title: Team Leader Childrens Residential Care
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST7)
Salary: 37592.53 per annum
Working Hour: 2 on / 4 off shift pattern (including sleeps bank shift)
Number of Sleeps Required: Included within shift pattern
Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: YPs aged 825 EBD Trauma Complex Needs
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 1 year in Residential Childcare
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a confident resilient and motivated Team Leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality trauma-informed care to children and young people.

You will:

  • Lead shifts and support staff to deliver consistent high-quality care

  • Act as a role model and provide supervision guidance and mentoring

  • Support care planning reviews and risk management

  • Promote safeguarding and ensure policies and procedures are followed

  • Support the Registered Manager with daily operations and standards

  • Build strong relationships with professionals families and agencies

  • Support staff development training and inductions

  • Maintain accurate records reports and documentation

  • Work flexibly including weekends and sleep-ins

  • You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care this is not deemed equivalent

  • Candidates with only HealthCare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner experience will not be considered

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
