Job Summary
Product Shipper
Rate: $16/hr
Hours: 7am-3:30pm
Wilmington OH
C-D
Responsibilities:
- Reads pick list to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
- Uses RF reader to relieve inventory record serial numbers and invoice items picked.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets trays racks and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles and secures cargo as appropriate to prevent damage.
- Moves load to appropriate transportation vehicle.
- Verifies and documents appropriate shipping information as required and attaches safety and other required labels.
- Assembles crates to contain bulk-pack products.
- Prepare shipments for air and ocean transportation.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be willing and available to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate and perform required documentation.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
