You will translate real-world fleet maintenance needs into a compelling roadmap and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomesbalancing customer value technical feasibility and business impact.
- Define and continuously refine the product vision value proposition and target personas (fleet manager maintenance planner workshop manager technician CFO/COO).
- Structure discovery (customer interviews field ride-alongs usability tests pilots) to validate problems and solutionsturn insights into prioritized outcomes and hypotheses.
- Segment fleet customer needs (size industry internal/external workshops EV vs. ICE) to shape a modular/SKU strategy and packaging/pricing recommendations.
- Partner with data science and engineering to shape predictive maintenance capabilities (fault code ingestion anomaly detection RUL/health scoring) grounded in real operational data.
- Own the product backlog write crisp user stories and acceptance criteria and drive prioritization across development teams with clear trade-offs (value risk effort).
- Lead increment planning and release management; ensure the platform meets non-functional requirements (reliability performance security scalability cost).
- Deliver core maintenance workflows:
- Telematics ingestion & diagnostics (CAN OEM APIs tachograph OBD-II/J1939 DTCs)
- Maintenance planning (OEM schedules PM plans inspections compliance reminderse.g. TÜV/HU)
- Work order management (estimates labor parts warranty vendor management)
- Inventory & parts (stock levels reorder points supplier integrations)
- Scheduling & dispatch (shop capacity bay/technician allocation route-aware planning
- Analytics & reporting (uptime MTTR cost/km PM compliance FTFR stock turns)
- Ensure API-first delivery for integrations (ERP EAM/CMMS telematics providers OEM portals service networks payment).
- Run lighthouse pilots with key fleets; define success criteria measure outcomes and scale adoption.
- Build and leverage partner ecosystems (telematics/OEMs/workshop networks) to accelerate value.
Qualifications :
Required:
- 58 years in product roles (Product Owner/Manager) delivering B2B SaaSideally operations field service asset/fleet management or logistics.
- 3 years of demonstrated success taking complex workflow products from discovery to scaled adoption with measurable impact.
- 3 years of demonstrated discovery & communication skillscan turn ambiguity into clear problems outcomes and stories; great with both operational users and executives.
- 2 years demonstrated evidence of working in cloud-native environments and collaborating closely with architects/engineers on non-functional requirements.
Preferred:
- Hands-on with data-informed decision-making (product analytics cohort analysis A/B testing where appropriate).
- Experience with fleet maintenance domain (telematics diagnostics workshop ops PM plans warranty).
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and SaaS fundamentals (tenant isolation IAM/KMS networking observability).
- Background in Infrastructure-as-Code collaboration and CI/CD workflows; understanding of Kubernetes/EKS or serverless patterns for product decisions.
- Exposure to predictive maintenance/ML/AI use cases and data pipelines.
