This role involves working on generation distribution and industrial power systems while addressing harmonics voltage fluctuations and other power quality challenges.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer specializing in LV/MV power systems and power quality. The successful candidate will perform system analysis monitoring and optimisation to ensure stable reliable and efficient electrical networks. This role involves working on generation distribution and industrial power systems while addressing harmonics voltage fluctuations and other power quality challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct power quality studies and measurements on LV and MV networks
Analyse and troubleshoot voltage sags harmonics flicker and other disturbances
Design and implement solutions to improve power system performance
Collaborate with clients contractors and internal teams on projects
Prepare technical reports specifications and documentation
Support commissioning testing and maintenance activities

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience with LV and MV power systems power quality analysis and instrumentation
Proficiency in power system analysis software (ETAP DIgSILENT PowerFactory SKM or similar)
Knowledge of IEC IEEE or local power quality standards
Strong problem-solving analytical and communication skills
5-10 years experience
