About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Video Designer to help us reach the next level in content ideation and creation working on-site. If you are an English native or fluent speaker and are passionate about creating videos and assets that attract and engage both leads and current clients (digital publishers and advertisers) this job is for you.
You will get involved in every stage of the filmmaking process; from concept and scriptwriting to directing shooting editing and distribution; while also supporting the creation of sales and marketing collaterals.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Post-Production
- Create video scripts shoot videos and handle full post-production (editing color correction animation). These include commercial videos interviews presentations and more following brand guidelines.
- Adapt videos to meet the requirements of the different Social Media platforms: reels stories shorts etc.
- Modify and revise existing videos and designs to meet internal needs or improve quality.
- Bring ideas to life by producing drafts prototypes and final design and video solutions.
YouTube Management
- Upload and manage content for Refinery89s YouTube Channel.
- Improve and create videos thumbnails descriptions titles and translations.
- Creation of monthly reports.
Design Support
- Assist in the creation of visually appealing marketing and sales materials.
- Support the team with graphic design assets when needed.
Collaboration & Growth
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date with video design trends and emerging technologies in AdTech.
- Actively listen to AdTech industry developments for context and competitive advantage.
- Propose new actions and assets that contribute to company growth.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Video and Photography skills.
- Fluent or native-level English (mandatory).
- Filmmaking equipment expertise screenwriting and storytelling knowledge.
- Full proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite Premiere Pro After Effects Photoshop.
- Experience with AI tools for video and image creation.
- Experience managing YouTube channels and deep YouTube knowledge.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to take directions and work independently.
- Strong branding knowledge and ability to follow brand directions.
- Basic Knowledge of Figma and a basic understanding of print and web design principles.
- Graphic design skills (e.g. creating Social Media posts marketing creatives and supporting the design team).
- Social media management skills apart from YouTube and knowledge of platform best practices.
- Background in creative agencies or large companies.

Interview Process
The interview process consists of four stages:
- Initial screening Introductory call with a recruiter.
- First interview Video call with the Marketing/Design team.
- Second interview Video call with the Marketing Director and/or senior stakeholders.
- Final interview Practical Case presentation followed by an In-person meeting with the Hiring Manager CRO and key team members.
Each stage is designed to assess role alignment collaboration style and long-term fit while giving clear visibility into how Refinery89 operates and what success looks like in the role.
