What you will be doing
Working in a team environment you will provide a full range of administrative support for the Student Services Office. The position reports to the Manager of Student Services and receives day-to-day direction from the Lead Administrative Assistant to support efficient operations and the delivery of exceptional customer service to students staff and the public.
As the first point of contact for Student Services you will collaborate closely with the other Administrative Assistant to respond to walk-in inquiries phone calls and emails. Your responsibilities will include processing educational verifications and transcript requests booking appointments for the Student Services team and triaging referrals from faculty and staff.
You will also support the Manager of Student Services with tasks such as organizing meetings preparing materials and ordering supplies. As a key member of the Student Services team you will play an important role in planning and supporting special events including Get Started Open House Orientation and Convocation.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business or Administrative Professional/Office Administration combined with a minimum of two years recent and related experience in a fast-paced office environment. Or you have the recognized equivalency of a high school diploma with significant (10) years of administrative experience.
- Occupational experience that includes organizing special events for large groups would be an asset.
- You are familiar with and comfortable using computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite E-mail and PeopleSoft
- You are comfortable working in a digital environment; you take responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; and you are committed to using technology in advancing your work
- Experience supporting/providing superior service to adult learners and prospective students would be considered an asset

- You demonstrate a commitment to inclusion diversity equity accessibility and anti-racism
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are able to interact at all levels of an organization
