Help shape one of Geelongs most impressive school campuses. Geelong Grammar School is seeking a fulltime Gardener to maintain and elevate the beautiful diverse landscapes of our Corio campus. Youll work across expansive grounds contribute to long-term landscape development and help guide junior team members all while bringing creativity and horticultural passion to every project.

What Youll Do

Keep our gardens thriving through expert plant care problem-solving and handson horticulture.
Identify and resolve plant health soil and irrigation challenges with confidence.
Support the delivery of the Schools landscape master plan through thoughtful maintenance and development.
Operate and maintain horticultural machinery irrigation systems and equipment safely and effectively.
Manage chemicals and fertilisers responsibly while contributing to a strong safety culture.
Share your knowledge guide apprentices and help foster a collaborative forwardthinking grounds team.

What Youll Bring

Horticulture qualifications (Trade Certificate Associate Diploma or equivalent).
Experience maintaining large-scale gardens or public landscapes.
Strong plant recognition and excellent diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently prioritise tasks and plan effective work programs.
Competency in machinery operation turf care irrigation installation and chemical use.
Good communication skills and a passion for creative evolving landscape design.
Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
