An exciting opportunity for a Product Introduction Manager role is available within our Defence Future Programmes team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the Future Programmes Manufacturing Engineering Leadership team supporting the development of manufacturing processes. This role is supporting a key programme within the OrpheusWorks organisation.
Reporting to the Chief of Industrialisation you will be accountable for leading the execution of Manufacturing Product Introduction activities for a key programme in OrpheusWorks. You will develop robust manufacturing Production Technical Packages which are capable of delivering design intent and meeting customer and business requirements for safety quality cost delivery rate & leadtime (SQCD).
You will contribute to the development of the product introduction strategy for the business connecting strategy design supply chain operations technology and digital stakeholders along with technology partnerships and suppliers to create product introduction strategies and roadmaps. You will work collaboratively with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager whos team of Manufacturing Engineers will execute the strategy.
You will also have experience of Product Introduction methodologies such as Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process and will be working with internal and external suppliers to create define and implement several methods of manufacture for a range of future products.

The role is Bristol based but travel both in the UK and overseas may also be required on an occasional basis.
To work for the Rolls-Royce Defence Business there may be a requirement for an individual to hold a level of National Security Vetting (NSV). If the requirement is identified Rolls-Royce will support the application for NSV if the individual does not currently already have this in place. This role requires SC clearance.
Please be aware that the priority will be given to employees identified as being at high risk.
