Location: Sacramento CA. Hybrid preferred with 12 days per week remote depending on experience; fully remote considered for a highly experienced candidate.

Job Description

  • Advise and counsel employer clients on day-to-day employment law issues
  • Draft pleadings motions discovery and written advocacy
  • Argue motions and meaningfully contribute to case strategy from inception through resolution
  • Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and negotiations
  • Conduct legal research and provide clear business-minded guidance
  • Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate
  • Participate in networking and business development efforts

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
  • 1 years of experience in employment law litigation or both
  • Strong legal writing analytical and communication skills
  • Professional judgment executive presence and client-facing confidence
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings depositions or mediations
  • Interest in mentorship teamwork and long-term growth
