Job Description
- Advise and counsel employer clients on day-to-day employment law issues
- Draft pleadings motions discovery and written advocacy
- Argue motions and meaningfully contribute to case strategy from inception through resolution
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and negotiations
- Conduct legal research and provide clear business-minded guidance
- Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate
- Participate in networking and business development efforts
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- 1 years of experience in employment law litigation or both
- Strong legal writing analytical and communication skills
- Professional judgment executive presence and client-facing confidence
- Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings depositions or mediations
- Interest in mentorship teamwork and long-term growth
