Location: Sacramento CA. Hybrid preferred with 12 days per week remote depending on experience; fully remote considered for a highly experienced candidate.

Job Description

Advise and counsel employer clients on day-to-day employment law issues
Draft pleadings motions discovery and written advocacy
Argue motions and meaningfully contribute to case strategy from inception through resolution
Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and negotiations
Conduct legal research and provide clear business-minded guidance
Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate
Participate in networking and business development efforts

Qualifications

Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
1 years of experience in employment law litigation or both
Strong legal writing analytical and communication skills
Professional judgment executive presence and client-facing confidence
Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings depositions or mediations
Interest in mentorship teamwork and long-term growth
