Job Summary
Content Moderator (German)
Location: Lisbon or Porto Portugal
Onsite role Relocation required
Introduction
We are looking for a detail-oriented German-speaking Content Moderator to join an international digital platform team based in Portugal. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content and ensuring it complies with community guidelines and platform policies. Your work will help create a safe respectful and positive online environment for users.
Relocation is required for this position.
A full relocation package is provided including flight tickets hotel accommodation and relocation assistance.
We can proceed only with candidates who hold an EU passport or a valid work permit for Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content such as text images and videos for the German-speaking market
- Ensure content complies with platform rules safety standards and legal requirements

Identify classify and take action on content that violates guidelines
- Make accurate and consistent moderation decisions while meeting quality standards

Document moderation outcomes clearly in internal systems
- Work closely with team leaders and quality analysts to maintain high accuracy levels

Handle sensitive content in a professional and responsible manner
Requirements

Fluency in German (written and spoken)

Good level of English for internal communication

Strong attention to detail and good judgment

Ability to remain objective and consistent in decision-making

Comfortable working in a fast-paced onsite environment

Willingness to handle potentially sensitive or disturbing content
- Previous experience in content moderation customer service or similar roles is an advantage

EU passport or valid Portuguese work permit (mandatory)
