Responsible for the supervision and coordination of administrative and general office activities consistent with practice objectives administrative policies and practices. Provides direct supervision for administrative and office support staff such as secretarial/administrative assistants medical assistants schedulers data management and medical records staff. Ensures successful delivery of support services within the practice including but not limited to human resources activity payroll purchasing and budgetary participation.
the day-to-day activities of staff to maintain workflow of the practice.
and schedules work of staff to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing space and facilities for subsequent performance of duties.
work direction guidance coaching and training for staff.
reviews and revises work processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective administrative activities.
in the development of new methods procedures and/or processes to increase efficiency and to improve service delivery production equipment performance scheduling and quality control.
and maintains communication internally to ensure effective coordination of work activities.
compliance with department and organizational policies and procedures.
accurate initial verification of pertinent information to ensure proper program placement based on insurance type.
system data integrity within business systems.
efficient workflow of business systems through introduction of new processes.
in the various personnel activities including but not limited to hiring performance appraisals training disciplining and making salary recommendations.
continuous quality improvement in all processes.
required continuous training and education including practice specific requirements.
assist in making recommendations regarding fiscal and staffing requirements for the practice and may assists in the preparation of budgetary recommendations.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58661.00 - $80818.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
