POSITION SUMMARY
The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and optimizing all dispatch and logistics activities across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This role plays a key support function for Customer Service and Warehouse Operations by ensuring efficient delivery planning proactive fleet utilization and timely issue resolution.
A core part of the role is managing the Tank Monitor Program to drive route efficiency load optimization and improved service levels. The Dispatch Coordinator also manages order fulfillment and field customer complaints related to deliveries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dispatch & Route Optimization
Optimize dispatch planning routing and expediting processes to improve efficiency and service levels.
Analyze tank monitor data to determine optimal delivery timing routes and load sizes.
Build and maintain daily delivery routes while staying in contact with drivers throughout the day.
Plan and coordinate loads efficiently (bulk and packaged goods).
Manage the Truck Preparation Screen for all orders.
Plan outbound routing for packaged goods and bulk product using Catalys fleet and 3PL partners.
Schedule inbound loads of bulk product packaged goods supplies and other materials.
Customer Service & Issue Resolution
Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure delivery targets and special instructions are met.
Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Manage field delivery-related customer complaints and support resolution as required.
Fleet Driver & Equipment Management
Ensure full fleet utilization through capacity management and vehicle maintenance planning.
Support driver training and ensure accountability to company policies and procedures.
Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule for trucks and trailers.
Coordinate equipment repairs licensing and certification requirements.
Ensure adherence to all Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures.
Reporting Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Manage tank monitors across the Catalys Winnipeg network ensuring accuracy and functionality.
Produce daily/weekly reports on customer pick-ups and logistics activity.
Manage the Purolator account and related shipping activities.
Support initiatives to optimize transportation cost performance ($/L) across goods sold.
Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
5 years of dispatch experience required.
Experience in the lubricants industry or related sectors is considered an asset.
Education:
Diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Transportation or a related field.
Language:
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
