Job Summary
The Youth Initiative Development Programme (YIDP) is seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our team as Fundraising & Resource Mobilization Volunteers. This role is open to both Kenyan and non-Kenyan volunteers who are committed to supporting youth development education digital skills sports and mental health initiatives.
As a volunteer you will play a key role in helping YIDP mobilize resources to expand projects such as our ICT Hub Mind Ball mental health program school outreach and community-based youth empowerment initiatives.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Research potential donors foundations CSR partners and grant opportunities
- Support proposal writing concept notes and funding applications
- Assist in donor communication follow-ups and reporting
- Contribute ideas for online fundraising campaigns and partnerships
- Support development of sponsorship packages and pitch materials
- Maintain records of fundraising leads and funding progress
Requirements
Who Should Apply
- Students professionals or volunteers with interest in fundraising development work partnerships or nonprofit management
- Individuals with strong writing research communication or networking skills
- People passionate about youth empowerment education mental health sports for development and digital inclusion
- International volunteers and diaspora supporters are welcome
