Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ATG Operational Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for Oracle ATG Commerce platforms. This role is responsible for monitoring troubleshooting incident resolution and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of ATG-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ATG commerce systems production support and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 operational support for ATG-based applications ensuring uptime and stability.
Monitor application performance logs and alerts using tools such as AppDynamics Splunk or similar.
Troubleshoot production issues perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
Manage and support deployments releases and patches for ATG applications.
Collaborate with development QA and infrastructure teams to resolve application issues.
Document incidents resolutions and create knowledge base articles for recurring issues.
Work within incident problem and change management processes to ensure compliance with SLAs.
Provide on-call support during off-hours/weekends as needed.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle ATG Commerce (Dynamo BCC CSC CRS etc.)
Proficiency in Java/J2EE with good understanding of ATG architecture.
Experience in application servers (WebLogic/JBoss) and deployment processes.
Solid understanding of databases (Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL) and ability to write/debug queries.
Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (AppDynamics Splunk ELK etc.).
Strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for hosting ATG applications.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Exposure to microservices and integration with third-party systems.
Familiarity with Commerce Tools CDM or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus.
