About the Role:

We are looking for a meticulous SDET who will be responsible for the design and implementation of automated tests and test environments for the Motive products. The Engineer must have a passion for diving into data technology be a problem solver and have a desire to improve software quality within a team environment. This role is critical to us in ensuring technology functions efficiently and effectively minimizes errors and helps to meet software quality goals.

What Youll Do:

Monitor automation metrics for continuous quality & process improvements.
Collaborate with the various teams at Motive to understand the automation needs.
Lead programmatic best practices by example be a hands on programmer and tech guru.
Estimating efforts identify risks devise mitigation and meet projects automation schedules.
Contribute/Maintain test automation framework development.

What Were Looking For:

4 -7 years of strong experience in developing test automation for Backend and Dashboard (Must have)
Expert level knowledge in one or more programming languages - Java Python etc.
Experience in industry best practices in SW development processes: Unit testing code coverage OO design code quality automation code reviews etc.
Proven ownership and delivery of automation for a sizable product or product component a strong sense of independence and self-direction.
Experience working with large codebases writing entirely new code and maintaining existing code.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams prioritize automation requirements work on them and deliver in a timely fashion.
Knowledge in CI/CD Environment
Experience in working with CI/CD tools.
Proficient in Git Bitbucket or Version control tool.
Working knowledge of SQL AWS Database System
