Project Manager / Digital Transformation Programs
Role Summary
Reporting to the Program Director the Project Manager will be responsible for delivering strategic initiatives within digital transformation programs. This role requires strong ability to manage multidisciplinary teams ensure governance and align technology solutions with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Project planning and execution: Define scope timelines budgets and resources.
- Coordinate IT and Business teams (local and international) to ensure successful project delivery.
- Governance and monitoring: Prepare steering committees produce progress reports manage risks and mitigation plans.
- Testing and environment strategy: Oversee end-to-end testing with project teams and external dependencies.
- Stakeholder management: Maintain smooth communication with business lines and technical teams demonstrate influence.
- Delivery methodologies: Apply Agile best practices in a hybrid context.
- Project tracking and continuous improvement: Control costs measure performance and ensure compliance with objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or Project Management.
- Experience: 15 years in project or program management including several in digital transformation.
Core competencies:
- Managing complex projects/programs.
- Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
- Experience in establishing and managing governance and risk frameworks.
- Agile/Scrum methodology and familiarity with Atlassian tools.
- Tools: Jira Confluence AWS Java Microsoft Office Suite.
- Industry knowledge: Banking and payments.
- Languages: French and English (spoken and written).
- Certifications (asset): PMP PMI-ACP Scrum Master SAFe.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80000 $155000. This role is an existing vacancy / a future opportunity.
