About the Role:

Umwelt has an exciting newly created opportunity for a Technology Support Specialist to join our national ICT team. This role is ideal for a technically capable professional with strong business acumen and proven experience in the implementation integration and support of Microsoft 365 solutions including SharePoint PowerApps Power Automate and low code platform technologies.

Reporting to the National IT Systems Architect you will play a key role in managing and enhancing Umwelts Microsoft 365 solution stack and associated enterprise applications. You will be responsible for integrating and optimising business systems to support our growing operational needs working across a range of SaaS platforms and integration tools. This role supports a diverse user base across both local offices and national operations requiring a collaborative solutions focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and build solutions to meet the needs of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Power Platform environments across work areas and locations
  • Manage and support SharePoint environments including site collection administration templating automated site builds and ongoing service maintenance
  • Develop and support Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Apps Power Automate and related Microsoft 365 services
  • Identify and resolve issues related to SharePoint and Microsoft 365 performance connectivity and integration with other systems
  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 governance practices to ensure data protection and business continuity
  • Manage incidents on production systems including root cause analysis escalation follow-up and resolution within agreed timeframes
  • Perform and coordinate testing activities and promote DevOps and continuous improvement practices including automation and documentation
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation including scripting and integration solutions to support third-party systems
  • Coordinate with the ICT team and Umwelt departments to scope integrate and manage external providers where required
  • Comply with internal processes procedures and ICT best practices at all times

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology Computer Science or equivalent
  • ICT professional with strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues understand user needs and propose effective solutions
  • 3-5 years recent relevant industry experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience working with SharePoint and Microsoft technologies at scale with solid understanding of the Microsoft stack including Microsoft 365 Azure services Microsoft Server platforms Entra AD and SSO
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate Forms Flow and Power BI)
  • Demonstrated understanding of business systems operation and integration supported by solid general ICT skills
  • Sound understanding of information systems administration tasks and responsibilities
  • Experience with scripting Microsoft 365 automation tools and third-party integration tools
  • Highly motivated with a strong customer and quality focus
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supporting remote staff and distributed teams
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively under pressure without compromising quality
  • Proven ability to work with initiative and minimal supervision
  • Experience working with multiple line-of-business SaaS platforms
