Position: Elementary School Physical Education Teacher Location: Match Community Day Boston MAStart date: ASAP ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYMatch has an immediate opening for an Elementary School Physical Education Teacher to join the Match Community Day team for the rest of the 2025-2026 school year and beyond. This position is located at Match Community Day on 100 Poydras Hyde Park salary range for teachers new to Match is $ and is determined by the candidates prior years of full-time teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of employee health insurance costs and up to $150/month in loan repayment assistance. Match is only able to consider applicants who hold current US work authorization. OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThere is dedicated gym space and equipment for PE classes. This position includes a number of essential responsibilities including (but not limited to):Teach grade-appropriate Physical Education classes;Develop daily lessons aligned with Matchs Physical Education curriculum in collaboration with leadership team members;Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students and provide lots of support for getting students there;Participate actively in Matchs coaching and professional development programming;Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; andServe as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community PM20QUALIFICATIONS Research has shown that people of color and women are less likely to apply for jobs if they dont believe they meet every one of the qualifications described in a job description.
