About the role
Working from a child centred approach the aim is to ensure that young people are supported therapeutically through the safe provision of a physically emotionally and culturally appropriate environment in a residential setting.
The House Leader will work on shift with the young people and provide assistance in the day-to-day operations of the residential setting. This will include supporting Youth Workers managing house funds liaising with Stakeholders attending appointments administration and report writing. Additionally the House Leader will ensure the supports and house are maintained to compliance and best practice standards.
About you
You have extensive experience working with Children and Young people in a residential setting and an in-depth understanding of Child Safety Services and the role they play in the care provided to young people.
You have a proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders both internal and external and experience in working collaboratively as a productive team member.
