Job Description:

This position is for an Inventory Management Support role responsible for aiding the facilities parts/materials warehouse by managing inventory levels and spare parts. The candidate will oversee multiple functions within a warehouse setting.

Attention to detail and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. The candidate will provide support to personnel across various shifts and management levels. They will work independently and collaboratively with a team to source parts order materials and maintain minimum/maximum inventory levels.

Essential Functions:

Experience within Logistics including Warehousing Receiving & Shipping
Experience within a production environment including material handling
Understanding of inventory management practices
Unpack material received and assure that it properly stored and all relevant transactions are done on the MRP system to show the location of the material.
Interface with other departments as required ensuring control and coordinate for efficient material flow.
Monitor of receipts issues and stock movements within the warehouse external suppliers and other L3Harris segments.
Ability to climb stairs ladders bend stoop and lift 32 pounds.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant inventory management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related inventory management lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of MS office suite of products
Ability to operate a forklift.
Working knowledge of warehouse control inventory control and related duties.
Ability to analyze information gathered to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
