Job Summary
At Bosch eBike we are developing award-winning products and features for bike riders world-wide. We are looking for a Python Tester with a passion for eBikes. Bosch is in the forefront when it comes to eBike Systems.
Designing and implementing automated test functions using Python
Debugging and commissioning test functions on the software test bench
Executing and contributing to software requirement reviews
Performing root cause analysis of failed tests and documenting defects
Creating clear and structured test reports for executed software tests
Actively supporting continuous improvement of test automation and quality processes
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you
Education
- Masters degree in Embedded Systems Electronics Engineering Computer Science or comparable qualification
- Equivalent practical experience is equally valued
Experience
- Experience in software testing or test automation ideally in embedded environments
- Familiarity with continuous integration and quality assurance workflows
Know-how
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with tools such as CAN CANoe Git GitHub Jira Jenkins
- Knowledge of requirements management
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Languages
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- German is a plus but not mandatory
Working Style and Methods
- Structured proactive and quality-oriented approach
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Germany
Personality
- Curious and motivated to learn
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Passion for cycling and innovative mobility solutions is a strong plus
