Services Manager

The key responsibilities of this position include:

• Manage the design of Building Services documentation packages across the project including Mechanical Electrical Security & ICT as well as Hydraulic.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the developing documentation meets the required specification cost budgets and programme for construction works.
• Together with the project team identify applicable cost savings and assist with product selection and problem solving to achieve best value for money.
• Progressively monitor the production of workshop drawings and as built documents.
• Monitor progress and quality of the works installation and commissioning on the project.
• Participate in the final handover of the building including submission of final documentation as built documents authority approvals warranties training and guarantees.

Qualifications :

The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualifications in a relevant Engineering or trade discipline.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects managing complex building services packages and integrated systems e.g. mechanical electrical communication/ICT/BMS and hydraulic.
• Sound understanding and application of statutory legislation and the relevant services Australian Standards.
• Demonstrated effective leadership skills through development of effective relationships with team members consultants and subcontractors.
