The Site Safety and Health Officer role is a critical leadership position within our operations. This is a hands-on field-based role for a safety professional who understands construction realities earns trust on job sites and knows how to apply safety standards in real-world conditions. You will be embedded with field crews and work closely with superintendents and project managers to ensure work is performed safely compliantly and efficiently in accordance with EMrequirements.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the on-site safety authority for active demolition abatement and environmental projects
- Implement and enforce site-specific Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs/JHAs/JSAs) in accordance with EM
- Conduct daily safety inspections audits and hazard assessments
- Lead pre-task planning and daily safety meetings with field crews
- Manage and oversee permit programs including hot work fall protection confined space and other high-risk activities
- Coordinate and deliver safety orientations toolbox talks and required training
- Investigate incidents near misses and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions
- Interface directly with superintendents project managers inspectors and client safety representatives
Travel Requirements
- This position requires approximately 70-80% travel depending on project needs
- Assignments may include regional and out-of-state job sites
- Per diem and travel support provided in accordance with company policy

- Proven ability to lead safety in active production-driven job sites
- Confidence to enforce requirements while maintaining professional working relationships
- Strong documentation communication and organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
