Manager, Information Consumption

The Information Consumption team enables end-users and applications to access curated data through cleanrooms query tools BI platforms notebooks and global federated data management to support analytics and decision-making.

As a Manager in Information Consumption you will lead a team of engineers focused on building scalable data solutions that democratize access to trusted data assets. You will partner with product analytics and infrastructure teams to deliver high-performance data services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the roadmap for data consumption platforms aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Define and implement patterns for federated data access query optimization secure data sharing and cloud migration.
• Oversee development of APIs query engines and BI tool integrations.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Data Infrastructure Products and BI.
• Drive automation monitoring and optimization of BI services.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Bachelors or masters in computer science Data Engineering or related field.
• 6 years in data engineering with 3 years in leadership roles.
• Expertise in distributed data systems SQL Python.
• Experience with Cloud BI Platforms Tableau PowerBi Looker Databricks dbt.
• Experience working to uplift and mature BI product capabilities policies definition controls and frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving skills with track record in synthesizing complex information to produce impactful management information and support informed decision making.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and sustain relationships across levels and role types influences and collaborates with all levels functions and geographies
• Superior communication and problem-solving skills with a passion to get things done learn and inspire peers and business partners to uplift skills and capabilities leadership and communication skills.

Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146200.00 to 211850.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
