Job Summary
The Accounting Manager will be a key leader within the finance team driving the accounting function for a growing multi-entity hospitality organization. This role owns the month-end close across multiple entities oversees consolidated financial reporting leads and develops accounting staff and partners closely with leadership through year-end audits. Were looking for a hands-on detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced multi-unit environment and enjoys making an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the month-end close processes for multiple hospitality entities ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial statements including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
- Supervise and mentor accounting professionals including reviewing work and providing ongoing guidance
- Review general ledger activity journal entries account reconciliations and variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with year-end audits including coordinating with external auditors and preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Partner with operations and corporate leadership to provide financial insight and support business initiatives
- Support system implementations process improvements and internal controls enhancements
- Ensure accurate reporting of revenue expenses accruals and balance sheet accounts specific to hospitality operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience preferably within hospitality real estate or multi-entity environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial consolidations
- Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms
