Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:

  • Monday & Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

  • TuesdayThursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
    Pay Rate: Up to $20/hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a family care clinic setting. The ideal candidate is patient-focused detail-oriented and comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced outpatient environment. This role involves working closely with providers to deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population including pediatric patients.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the last 3 years) as a Certified Medical Assistant in a clinic setting (Family Practice Urgent Care or Internal Medicine)

  • Experience working with pediatric patients

  • Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draws

Licenses & Certifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required

  • BLS / BCLS (Basic Life Support / Basic Cardiac Life Support) required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preliminary patient assessments including vital signs height weight allergies medications and chief complaints

  • Greet room and prepare patients for provider visits

  • Administer medications and vaccines via oral injection topical ophthalmic rectal and inhalant routes as ordered

  • Draw and process blood samples; prepare specimens for laboratory testing

  • Perform routine clinical procedures including EKGs as required

  • Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follow up to ensure completion

  • Accurately document patient information test results and clinical findings in the medical record

  • Communicate care plans and test results to patients as directed by providers

  • Clean prepare and sterilize instruments; maintain organized and stocked exam rooms

  • Adhere to infection control safety quality assurance and regulatory compliance standards

  • Protect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times

  • Assist with front-office duties as needed and perform other assigned tasks
