Zantech is looking for a talented Data & AI Architect to contribute to the success of our upcoming Enterprise Business Transformation project in a Hybrid role based out of the Washington DC Metro area.

The Data & AI Architect play a crucial role in:

• HHS Grants Data Model & AI Inference Architecture (PRIMARY)
• OneGrants Cloud Support
• Current State Assessment (data perspective)

Summary:

The Data & AI Architect will play a crucial role in providing support for OneGrants Cloud (early development phase). Designs AI-powered cloud data lake architecture HHS grants data model semantic layer AI inference architecture for predictive/generative AI. Develops proof-of-concepts for AI-enabled business process automation using 20 years of grants data. Ensures alignment with Federal Data & AI Strategy trustworthy AI principles FedRAMP FISMA Moderate requirements.

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

• 8 years data architecture
• 5 years AI/ML architecture
• 3 years cloud data platforms (AWS data services)
• Data lake/lakehouse architecture - S3 Glue Athena Lake Formation
• AI/ML architecture - SageMaker inference endpoints LLMs
• Data modeling - dimensional semantic layers ontologies
• Data governance quality lineage
• AI ethics and responsible AI frameworks

Preferred Education/Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or Statistics
• Masters degree or PhD in specialized domain
• AWS ML Specialty or Data Analytics Specialty preferred)

Required Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret trust or higher clearance per contract requirements.
