What Youll Do in This Role:

Bring joy purpose and connection to our residents lives as a Life Enrichment Assistant! In this rewarding role youll work closely with the Life Enrichment Manager to plan and deliver creative meaningful programs that nurture the social emotional and spiritual well-being of each resident. From organizing lively group activities to providing personalized one-on-one visits youll play a key part in making every day engaging and fulfilling. Youll also help coordinate special events connect residents with community resources and collaborate with families and team members to ensure every resident feels valued supported and connected. Primary Responsibilities:

Bring Programs to Life! Help plan organize and deliver engaging activities and events that support residents emotional social and spiritual well-being.
Keep the Calendar Full! Assist with scheduling community events group programs and personalized in-room visits for residents who cant attend group activities.
Engage & Connect! Spend quality time with residents involve them in planning and provide uplifting one-on-one interactions that make a difference in their day.
Stay Organized! Complete documentation forms and reports accurately to keep our Life Enrichment programs running smoothly.
Make Events Special! Coordinate the detailslike setup supplies and transportationso residents can fully enjoy activities and outings.
Collaborate & Care! Work alongside residents families team members and community partners to create meaningful experiences tailored to each resident.
Be Part of the Team! Share ideas participate in care planning and contribute to improving our programs and resident engagement.

What Youll Need:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience working in resident engagement or activity planning.
  • Preferred experience working with the senior population.
  • Ability to multi-task and provide follow-through on all projects.
  • Ability to move frequently throughout the workday including crouching twisting grasping lifting/pushing balancing and kneeling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
