About this role

Intern positions are available from the Spring of 2026 to suit dedicated undergraduate and postgraduate student scientists studying biological sciences genetics or biochemistry and who have a curiosity about pursuing a career in biological sciences/genetics.

The ideal candidates will be looking for an authentic and structured intern experience and will be on-course to achieve at least a 2.1 degree in biological sciences genetics or biochemistry at university.

Details

As an intern in our late development/regulated development team(s) youll work alongside experienced scientists to contribute to critical projects gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced scientific research/development environment.

  • Laboratory Work: Conduct wet-lab experiments analyse data and contribute to ongoing research projects.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise statistical and data analysis tools to interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Gain exposure to regulatory requirements and documentation processes.
  • Project Management: Assist in project planning/tracking/reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Eligibility

Successful candidates will be available to accept a minimum 3-month placement commencing from spring/summer 2026. Specific dates will be discussed at the interview.

All roles require the intern to work full-time hours for the duration of the placement and be present in our Oxford HQ on Oxford Science Park
