Being a division of renewable energy provider Hydro Tasmania Entura brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing asset owners participating in the energy transition when engaging with clients in the power networks and generation sectors.
As a key member of the Transmission Lines team you will focus on delivering hands-on structural / civil engineering design solutions and assessments on clients transmission tower and foundation assets. You will also contribute towards project management bids / proposals and client relationship management activities aligned with your current skills or career development aspirations. This role suits an individual who enjoys applying their technical expertise to support clients in meeting asset management and project challenges.
This role can be performed from any location in Australia. There is the option for a remote / work from home arrangement. Alternatively Entura has offices in Melbourne and Hobart (assistance can be provided for those looking to relocate).
Your technical depth in the analysis / design of electricity transmission structures has ideally been proven in a consulting or engineering services / contracting environment. Individuals with purely asset owner side experience who can transition into the dynamics of a consulting firm will also be considered. With a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) you are proficient in computer design packages (PLS Tower PLS Pole etc.) and have strong knowledge of relevant engineering standards.
