About the Team:
Community Works is Lambeths in-house Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) delivering communal repairs FRA remedial works HIA minor works estate-based maintenance and other operational services across the borough.
Our FRA programme generates a high volume of safety critical work that must be completed within statutory timeframes. The team works closely with Compliance Surveyors Housing Officers Supervisors Area Managers and residents to ensure that all fire safety actions are progressed efficiently and safely.
The scheduling function is central to managing workload flow ensuring accurate coordination and supporting a compliant and effective FRA service.
About the Role:
An internal opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised individual to join Community Works as a DLO Scheduler with a specific focus on supporting the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) remedial programme. This role is essential to ensuring that FRA actions are scheduled prioritised and delivered efficiently by our in-house operatives and external contractors. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Lambeth meets its fire safety obligations and maintains high standards of service delivery for residents.
The DLO Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling a significant volume of FRA-related work orders ensuring tasks are allocated effectively to in-house operatives and external FRA contractors. The role requires strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to work within fast-paced operational environments.
