Job Summary

Position: Plant Engineer
Location: Atikokan/ Thunder Bay - Onsite
Structure: Contract 6 months to start
Pay:Up to $80.00 p/h inc. Travel and Accommodation paid

Job Overview

Perform maintenance support for the Atikokan mechanical maintenance crew.
Perform project support for mechanical projects at the Atikokan station. Includes project initiation reports technical specifications and technical assistance as needed.
Perform asset management activities for the Atikokan station. Including life extension for equipment.
Provide support for the Operations group at the Atikokan station. This includes writing procedures and advising on the operation of various equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.
Minimum four years experience in the manufacturing or power plant operations. Prefer licensed as a Professional Engineer in province of Ontario.
Prefer experience in thermal power plants.
