Responsibilities

Design mechanical systems such as chilled water networks ventilation systems air humidification and dehumidification systems plumbing systems and related building mechanical infrastructure
-
Perform engineering calculations related to the discipline
-
Prepare technical specifications and reports required for project delivery
-
Participate in site supervision activities related to mechanical systems
-
Conduct final inspections of mechanical installations
-
Address and resolve mechanical deficiencies
-
Provide technical support to internal teams and clients
-
Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Building Mechanical Systems
-
Registered Professional Engineer (.) with APEGA (or eligible for registration in Alberta)
Experience in Data Centers
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building mechanical engineering
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD
-
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-
Ability to synthesize information and work efficiently
-
Solid understanding of multidisciplinary building environments
-
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
-
Strong client-oriented approach
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
-
Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
Assets
-
Registration with other Canadian engineering associations
-
Experience with data centers and mission-critical facilities
-
Knowledge of generator systems and backup power infrastructure
-
Experience in fire protection and sprinkler systems
-
Consulting engineering experience
