One of our manufacturing client in Windsor ON is looking for a Quality Engineer for their plant.
Pay - $70-$110K
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop implement and maintain quality systems in compliance with IATF 16949 ISO standards and customer-specific requirements

Support APQP activities including PPAP control plans PFMEA and process flow diagrams
-
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 8D 5 Why Fishbone
-
Investigate internal supplier and customer quality issues and ensure timely resolution
-
Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer registrar and supplier audits)
-
Monitor key quality metrics (scrap rework PPM customer complaints) and drive continuous improvement
-
Collaborate with production engineering and supply chain teams to improve product and process quality
-
Support new product launches and engineering changes
-
Review and approve inspection plans work instructions and quality documentation
-
Provide quality training and guidance to manufacturing personnel
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Industrial Manufacturing or related field)
-
5 years of quality engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
-
Strong knowledge of automotive core tools: APQP PPAP FMEA SPC MSA
-
Experience with IATF 16949 quality management systems
-
Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
-
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
-
Strong communication analytical and organizational skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with quality systems software is an asset
Preferred Qualifications:

CQE or other quality-related certification
-
Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 automotive suppliers
-
Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
