Job Summary

Website Director

The Website Director is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding the strategy planning design and development of websites across the organization.

This position blends vision structure and execution. You will lead cross-functional teams establish scalable processes define quality standards and ensure every website aligns with partner goals user experience best practices and performance expectations.

You will serve as the central point of accountability for website delivery-overseeing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining consistency creativity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead and manage website planning design and development teams including developers project managers coordinators designers and contractors
  • Provide mentorship accountability and performance feedback
  • Assign workloads monitor capacity and support professional growth
  • Conduct regular check-ins to drive alignment and continuous improvement

Strategic Direction & Partner Alignment

  • Shape the strategic direction of website planning and execution
  • Ensure partner goals scalability and user experience are considered from initial planning through launch
  • Collaborate with sales creative and leadership teams during early discovery and planning stages
  • Influence agency-wide standards frameworks and long-term vision for website services

Project & Process Leadership

  • Oversee multiple concurrent website builds with clear timelines and deliverables
  • Serve as the central point of accountability across teams
  • Develop best practices templates and frameworks to scale production efficiently
  • Identify workflow improvements and reduce production time
  • Evaluate tools platforms and vendor relationships

Design & Development Oversight

  • Review designs for usability feasibility and alignment with partner objectives
  • Ensure design intent is effectively translated into development
  • Identify when custom assets are required and coordinate with design teams
  • Verify websites meet performance compatibility and accessibility standards

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in website or digital project management
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and hold individuals accountable
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles responsive design and wireframing
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Webflow
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals
  • Excellent communication problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail and proactive approach to identifying risks

Bonus Skills (Preferred Not Required):

  • Experience with planning and design tools such as Relume or Figma
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana

Compensation:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (or adjusted flex hours)
  • Office Location: 100 Glendalough Court Tyrone GA 30290
  • Compensation: Salary range $80000 $95000 based on experience and qualifications
