As a Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine physician you will play a crucial role in managing high-risk pregnancies conducting consultations and providing expert guidance to healthcare teams. Your expertise will contribute to improving maternal and fetal outcomes in our community.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for high-risk pregnancies
- Conduct detailed ultrasounds and fetal assessments
- Collaborate with obstetricians pediatricians and other healthcare providers
- Advise on management plans for complex maternal and fetal conditions
- Participate in patient consultations and education
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Ensure compliance with medical guidelines and standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Nebraska
Schedule: 8a-5p in clinic
Call Requirement: Weeknights (5p-8a) and 24-hour weekend shifts
Shifts available at multiple facilities
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Daily Volume: 15-20 patients
Required Procedures:All standard maternal fetal medicine procedures in a clinic and hospital setting and obstetrics
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
