Whats the role
As a Business Development Manager youll be the key link between BankSA and our mortgage broker partners ensuring that they understand and trust our value proposition and actively promote Westpac to their clients. Youll work closely with a core group of active brokers whilst tapping into a broader opportunity pool across SA ultimatelyholding responsibility for broker NPS and settlement targets through the management and maintenance of these relationships.
- Manage and expand an active broker portfolio
- Develop strong broker relationships whilst providing policy and product education as well as coaching on loan structuring
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues assist in mobilising deals through the credit process and provide solutions / escalations for complex scenarios
- Host and attend networking events including webinars coffee clusters and development days
- Create business plans hold regular strategy catch-ups and maintain a rolling applications pipeline
What do I need
- Experience in a Business Development Manager Credit Assessor Broker or Lender role
- Comfortable and flexible to attend / host networking events
- The ability to work autonomously manage a fast-paced pipeline and achieve set targets
- Skilled in developing mutually beneficial relationships with external partners
- Resilience energy enthusiasm passion!
