Job Summary
We are looking for a colleague who would join the Data Engineering Team and help us develop Data solutions in a cloud based Microsoft Fabric data platform. Advanced data analytics will be one of our key sources of global competitive advantages. Sales financial technical people smart metering and a lot more of Ignitis group energy data solutions. You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Building and operating reliable scalable data pipelines using Python Airflow and Microsoft Fabric
- Integrating data from 50 sources (on-prem cloud APIs) into a unified data platform
- Designing and evolving lakehouse/warehouse patterns data models and transformation layers
- Owning data quality observability security and compliance-by-design across pipelines and storage
- Leading technical solution design end-to-end from requirements to production rollout
- Ensuring data quality security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience in data engineering
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Expertise with data modelling ETL/ELT and warehouse/lakehouse concepts
- Expertise with building data pipelines using common orchestration tools such as Airflow
- Experience leading and implementing data governance frameworks and data cataloging tools
- Comfortable with mentoring and growing more junior team members
Would be an advantage:
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Azure in general
- Experience with dbt
